  • Note Reading Harmony

    • This course will help you develop the ability to perform harmony parts by reading pitch and rhythm notation. You will see the key and time signatures and the notation for all voice parts in the song. You will hear the first pitch and MusAPPTM will wait for you to sing each pitch in the target part you have chosen to sing.

    • Your speed in matching the target pitches will be measured and points will be earned when you sing each target pitch within the allotted time limits. You can't progress to the next note until you sing the current target note in rhythm. The note will turn red if you take too long to sing the correct pitch or fail to sing the note duration and you will miss one point.

    • The pitch pointer will help you learn how it feels to sing correct pitches as they relate to other harmony parts. You will hear the other parts as you sing a selected harmony part.

    • You may choose from songs and exercises in 2-part, 3-part and 4-part harmony. With repetition, you will develop musical skill (muscle memory and tonal memory) as you perform from pitch notation.
